The D25 is a specialty blade design exclusively to cut very dense and abrasive ductile iron – an iron-carbon-silicon alloy commonly used to make water and sewage pipes.
Safer than using an abrasive blade because it sparks less.
The side protection helps beveling process on pipes.
No loss of cutting depth.
